Edward Milward-Oliver has written a nice new blog post on The Ipcress File on the Picturehouse blog, which looks at how the decisions made by the Columbia film studio led to the film we know and love today.

And a fascinating article it is too. This, "Saltzman had always bridled at the difficulties placed in the path of filmmakers in Britain, with no line of credit available from the laboratories or the studios." intrigued me. Does this mean that in Hollywood, the labs and studios do extend credit to movie producers?
