This is a blog about the books, film and world of British thriller and spy novel author Len Deighton, writer of The Ipcress File, Funeral in Berlin, SS-GB, Bomber, Berlin Game and many other books. This blog also covers the spy thriller genre and the Cold War more widely.
It is a companion website to the main Deighton Dossier archive (link on the right).

Shelf life ....
On the shelf
A visit to my local Waterstones recently: Harper Collins' reissues of Len's books. All good.
I'd hope so - it's not a Harper Collins issue, so I don't think it's part of the current reissues. But it would make a great iPad book - think of the potential for audio commentary, videos, interactive ephemera etc.
Will they ever reissue Airshipwreck? I've been dying to read that one.
